Description
Local Food Incentives can help school districts increase the purchase of local and regional foods to serve in school cafeterias. These incentives also help create new business relationships between school food directors, producers and food hubs. Incentives are available in Connecticut through both federal and state funding.
Incentives are allocated to each district are based on funding availability and size of the student population.
