Rooting For Winter!

Cups filled with sticks of rainbow carrots
We ROOT for winter vegetables all winter long! While temperatures drop, snow falls, and the ground freezes, our farmers stay busy producing winter crops that you can serve all throughout the season! Ask your farmer if they are growing or storing these local winter products:
  • Kale
  • Butternut squash
  • Potatoes
  • Apples
  • Carrots
  • Beets
  • Dairy
  • Mixed greens (sometimes available in early and late winter)
Download our free Rooting for Winter materials below to hand out during taste tests, in classrooms, or at community events. For more information, reach out to Abigail Dubois.
